What is the Boiler Scheme?
The boiler scheme project forms part of the Government funded ECO 4 Scheme, where local authorities and major energy providers work together to reduce carbon emissions and reduce heating bills nationwide.

“We can offer you free boiler upgrade in a number of instances and cases. Government funded boiler upgrade schemes have traditionally been aimed at and marketed to households on a means tested benefit. With the rise in energy bills brings other opportunities, households with low income and additional families with health conditions will mean you now qualify.
We can assist people with the following health conditions:
Cardiovascular System
Cardiovascular System (including high blood pressure / blood clotting / blood thinning / angina / heart attack / heart failure stroke / atrial fibrillation / arrhythmia).
Respiratory Condition
Respiratory Condition (including asthma / COPD / lung cancer).
Immunosuppressed
Immunosuppressed (cancer / splenectomy / rheumatological disease)
Limited Mobility
These conditions can apply to any person living in the household.
Alternative ways to qualify:
Household total annual income
Household total annual income is under 31k gross per annum.
Occupant on benefits
occupants living within the household on benefits will qualify.
Universal Credit, Income based JSA, Income related ESA or Income support, Working tax credits, Child tax credits, Housing benefit, Pension credit guarantee or savings credit.
If this is the case, we will be able to entitle you to the free boiler anywhere in the country.
Like with previous schemes, homeowners, children, or occupants living within the household on benefits will qualify.
